XS Direct Ireland – Car Insurance

XS Direct Car Insurance was launched in 2007 to the Irish insurance market and is available through www.easyquote.ie.

What is different about this policy?
The big difference on this car insurance policy is the excess (as the name suggests). A standard car policy will have an excess of around €150 – €300. The standard excess on this policy is
- €500 for the XS select policy.
- €1000 for the XS Direct Start policy.
- €4000 for the normal XS direct policy.

What is an excess?
An excess if the first part of any claim that you pay. If your claim is for €20,000 & your policy carries an excess of €4000, then you will receive €16,000.

What are the benefits of this policy?
- Cheap car insurance quotes available, even if you have had a claim with another insurer.
- No increase in insurance premium if you have a claims whilst insured with XS Direct.
- Windscreen cover can be added for an additional premium.
- This is a good car insurance policy for those who are over 25 (first time insurance) to get car insurance at a reasonable price. You can look elsewhere when you have built up your bonus.
