Cover Details: Help Third Party Only Cover: This is the minimum cover required in accordance with the Road Traffic Act 1961. Cover is for Third Party Property Damage, bodily injury or death caused to others including passengers.
Tip: Some insurers no longer quote for Third Party Only Cover so you may find a more competitive quote under the Third Party Fire and Theft option. Third Party Fire and Theft Cover:
Third Party Fire and Theft cover includes the cost of repairs or compensation if the car is damaged as a result of: Fire, lightning or explosion and damaged as a result of theft or attempted theft. This cover is in addition to Third Party Only Cover. Comprehensive Cover:
Comprehensive Cover offers the highest level of cover and in addition to Third Party Fire and Theft Cover includes accidental and malicious damage to the car insured. Comprehensive cover does not include injury to the driver as standard. However, a lot of insurers provide free 'Extra Benefits' when this level of cover is selected. Please check the 'Policy Details' for any additional benefits given. Tip: In some cases Comprehensive cover may be cheaper than Third Party Fire and Theft Cover.
